Mango Ice Box

A match made in heaven - mangoes, cream, and lady fingers for a totally enjoyable tropical dessert

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

1 300 ml can condensed milk
2 cans 300g NESTLE Cream
20 pieces lady fingers
4 medium size ripe mangoes sliced thinly
1/3 cup lady finger crumbs

HERE'S HOW:

  1. Combine condensed milk and NESTLÉ Cream in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Arrange 10 pieces lady fingers in a 12x7x2-inches rectangular dish. Top with half the mango slices. Pour in half of the cream mixture. Repeat for the remainder of the ingredients.
  3. Top with crumbs, and freeze for a minimum of 4 hours.

Frozen Fruit Salad

Frozen Fruit Salad | Del Monte Philippines: "

Ingredients:
24 pc Broas
1 pc Green Apple (diced with peel)
10 pc Grapes (halved)
1 can (300 ml) Condensed Milk (for fruit mixture)
1 pack (250 ml) All-Purpose Cream (for fruit mixture)
1 cup Mayonnaise (for fruit mixture)
¼ tsp Iodized Fine Salt (for fruit mixture)
1 can (432 grams) Del Monte Fiesta Fruit Cocktail (drained, reserve syrup)

Cooking Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, combine DEL MONTE Fiesta Fruit Cocktail with apples and grapes, then mix thoroughly. Set aside.
  2. Using 8'x12" pan, arrange half of broas to cover bottom of pan. Drizzle with half of fruit cocktail syrup and half of fruit mixture.
  3. Do the same with the remaining broas, syrup and fruits. Cover and freeze overnight.


Makes 12 servings

Banana Freeze

A quick frozen dessert that will satisfy any sweet tooth craving

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

1 cup (about 4 pieces) lacatan bananas, mashed
1 cup + 2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp NESTLÉ Premium Squeeze Orange Juice
1 160g can NESTLÉ Cream

HERE'S HOW:

  1. Combine bananas, sugar, NESTLÉ Premium Squeeze Orange Juice and NESTLÉ Cream in a bowl.
  2. Whisk until smooth. Freeze until set.

Fruity Gulaman Medley

1 tbsp red gulaman, or green gulaman, diced
1 tsp chopped fresh melon
1 tbsp chopped unpeeled apple
1 tsp canned crushed pineapple

1/4 cup NESTLE Fresh Milk or CARNATION Evap.

HERE'S HOW:

In a glass put all of the ingredients one after the other. Top with crushed ice and drizzle with CARNATION Evap.

1 3/4 cups buco water
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups shredded buco

HERE'S HOW:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl or plastic container.
  2. Cover and freeze.

Pandan Gulaman Salad

Pandan-flavored gulaman with young coconut meat and kaong served with sweetened cream and crunchy pinipig

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 10

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

4 cups buko juice
4 pcs pandan leaves tied to a knot
2 bars red gulaman, shredded
1 cup sugar
2 cups buko meat, shredded
1 cup sweetened green kaong
shaved ice

Dressing:
3 170g cans NESTLÉ Cream combined with
1 301ml can condensed milk

pinipig, toasted

HERE'S HOW:
  1. Boil buko juice with pandan leaves for about 20 min. Stir in gulaman and sugar. Cook until dissolved. Strain into a 9 x 9 in. square pan then chill until set. Cut into 1 in. cubes. Set aside.
  2. Arrange gulaman cubes, buko meat and kaong in 10 glasses. Scoop shaved ice, on top, drizzle with dressing and sprinkle pinipig.

Berry Fruit Smoothie


WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
2 ripe, small Dole Bananas, peeled
2 cups fozen strawberries, sliced
1 pint frozen vanilla yogurt

HERE'S HOW:
  1. Slice bananas into blender or food processor container. Add pineapple and strawberries. Cover; blend until smooth. Add yogurt; blend until thick and creamy.

Note: This recipe fills a 5-cup blender. For smaller blender, make half of recipe at a time.


Nutrition Goal: Low fat, low cholesterol, good source of fiber, rich in potassium, calcium, and Vitamin C.

Fruit and Nut Bites

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

1 can (439 g.) Del Monte Fresh Cut Crushed Pineapple, well drained
1 medium green apple, pared, cored, and diced
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped cashew nuts (toasted)
24 wanton wrappers


HERE'S HOW:

1. Combine crushed pineapple, cinnamon and sugar. Simmer over low heat until almost dry. Mix with nuts.

2. Place one tbsp. of mixture in each wanton wrapper. Fold into triangles and seal edges with water. Deep-fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Makes 12 servings

Watermelon-Pine Shake

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
350 g watermelon flesh, cut into chunks and chilled
2 cans
(24 cl) DEL MONTE Sweetened Pineapple Juice Drink, chilled
1/4 cup sugar
12 pc ice cubes

HERE'S HOW:
  1. COMBINE all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Serves 6

Good source of Potassium – for proper muscle and nerve functioning.

Tropical Fantasy Smoothie

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
2 cans
(24 cl) DEL MONTE Sweetened Mango Juice Drink
2 pc ripe lacatan bananas
5 tbsp sugar
1 tsp calamansi juice
12 ice cubes

HERE'S HOW:
  1. COMBINE all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth

Serves 5

Excellent source of Vitamin C – helps fight common infection.

Pine-Carrot Smoothie

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
1 can (21 cl)
DEL MONTE 100% Pineapple Juice
1 pc small carrot
1 tbsp raisins
5 tbsp sugar
12 ice cubes

HERE'S HOW:
  1. BLEND carrot and raisins with DEL MONTE Pineapple Juice. Add the rest of the ingredients. Blend until smooth.

Serves 3

Excellent source of Vitamin A – for good eyesight.

Pine-Avocado Slush

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
1-1/2 to 2 cups sugar
4 cups water
1 can (46 oz)
DEL MONTE 100% Pure Pineapple Juice
1 can (24 cl)
DEL MONTE 100% Pure Unsweetened Orange Juice
3-4 tbsp calamansi juice
300 g ripe avocado, flesh mashed or pureed
1 can (330 ml) clear soft drink, chilled

HERE'S HOW:
  1. MAKE syrup by boiling water and sugar for 3 minutes. Cool.
  2. COMBINE syrup with the rest of the ingredients except soft drink. Cover and freeze. Take out from the freezer to slightly thaw. Blend in a blender until slushy. Add soft drink to make a punch.

Serves 12
